It is located at gates of the city of Como in an area well served by public transport, the walled city and the lake can be reached quickly on foot or by bus.

The house is few meters away from one of the most beautiful Romanic churches of the city, San Carpoforo, and it is the starting point for several panoramic trips in the green, with nice views of the lake and the surrounding mountains, Castello Baradello and Spina Verde and on the lake by steamship.

Built in the 30’s, characterized by the typical red color, the Case Cantoniere were the houses inhabited by the people who worked on the maintenance of Italian historical state roads. Few years ago, some of those houses were sold to private citizens.
This one, located in a sunny position few minutes away from the lake of Como and from Switzerland, became a beautiful house with garden and a swimming pool. Renovated between 2009 and 2010, part of the house became a Bed & Breakfast. It offers to its guests four single and double rooms in a familiar and international environment.
